week 3 Peanuts comics and Nemo

Peanuts comics are so classic i have read these ever since i was little. I love the dry sense of humor and quick little wittiness of these comics. I also enjoy the absence of adult and how the comics are so minimalistic.  I thought Little Nemo in Slumberland was  rather simple. The style of the comic was very simple and the bold black lines that are somewhat sharp and relatively stylized. The colors are almost like a wash of watercolors or gouache paint. The color themselves are pastel and overall suits the feeling of the comic. One of the reason why I enjoyed this comic so much, was because I felt Winsor McCay really successfully portrayed the little boy's dream.
